Atlanta Falcons: Patriots Set to Face Falcons in Super Bowl 51
By Kit Anderson
The Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots are set to meet in Super Bowl 51 and it is no coincidence they had the two best quarterbacks in 2016.
The Atlanta Falcons are set to play a tough New England Patriots team that has one thing in common with the Falcons. Both the Falcons and Patriots have the best respective quarterbacks from their conferences. Matt Ryan is likely the MVP of the League and the best quarterback in the NFC this year after taking down Rodgers and the Packers. Tom Brady on the other hand is yet on another middle finger tour of the League after being suspended the first four games of the season.
If Brady doesn’t miss the first four games of the season he would likely have won the MVP. Ryan and Brady are the best two quarterbacks in the NFL this year and it is no coincidence that their teams will meet in Super Bowl 51.
The NFL has transitioned to a quarterback’s league. Brady and Ryan have had equally impressive seasons and have impressive coaching staffs and defenses that rely on opportunistic defense. The last two seasons the story has been the same the most complete team, and the best unit in football have met in the Super Bowl.
Last season the Panthers were the most complete team in the NFL with a great defense and an offensive attack led by the MVP (Cam Newton). They faced the Denver Broncos who had the best defense in the NFL and had leaned on their best unit while playing complimentary offense. This season the story is much the same the New England Patriots are the most complete team in football. While the Dallas Cowboys could have argued for that spot the Patriot’s defense and coaching staff has more talent than Dallas.
