  1. Can the Patriots take away Julio?

The New England Patriots have made themselves famous for taking away their opponents biggest weapons. For the Falcons on defense that is Vic Beasley and on offense Julio Jones. It has been a topic of discussion for fans and media alike can the Patriots stop Julio Jones?

The Patriots will attempt to lock down Jones and make him a non-factor in the game on Sunday. The problem for the Pats will be how do you stop the best receiver in football? The simple answer is that they can’t. The Seahawks employed a similar strategy as to what the Patriots are expected to try. They had their best corner (Richard Sherman) shadow Julio for most of the day with constant help from the safety.

Julio Jones beat them both on more than one occasion and continued to hurt the Hawks despite the extra attention. The Patriots are not going to be able to stop Julio Jones from making plays, what they will be able to do is stop him from hurting them over the top and breaking big plays.  Julio Jones and how the Patriots will try to take him away is one important factor to watch early in Sunday’s game.
