Despite loss, the Atlanta Falcons are well prepared for future

Although this Falcons season ended in heartbreak, expect the team to compete far into the future.

As a fan, nothing hurt more than watching the end of Super Bowl 51 on Sunday. It’s very difficult to ever forget an experience like that. However, with the many bright spots this team has it’s not hard to envision another Super Bowl run in the not so distant future. Giving this young defense an entire offseason to mature and an offense that will still be electric, the Atlanta Falcons aren’t nearly done yet.

The Falcons have a core on both sides of the ball that screams future success. Guys like DROTY candidate Deion Jones, Keanu Neal, Vic Beasley, and Jalen Collins are young impact players. Factor in continued growth with the return of Desmond Trufant next year and this defense will be even more formidable. Under the guide of Dan Quinn, the defense made huge strides late in the year and will continue to get better next season.

New coaching staff will be an slight adjustment for the Atlanta Falcons.

Not much needs to be said about the offensive attack. Julio Jones will be 100 percent and Matt Ryan, Devonta, and Tevin Coleman are all returning. The only change is new coaching personnel. Steve Sarkisian will be the OC and a new QB coach still needs to be named after the departure of Matt Lafleur. All in all though, I have no worry in the offense as the players and game plan should see little change.

This Atlanta Falcons team has a bond. The core guys aren’t going anywhere. With young talent all around, the only place to go is up, and that’s bringing Atlanta a title. These guys wanna be here and they have the tools and coaching to continue winning. The mentality is there and the future is still very bright for the Falcons.
