The Atlanta Braves may be in a better position than most fans think as they head into the 2017 season.

Okay Atlanta Braves fans, now that the Falcons collapse is all but behind us it’s officially time to turn our full attention to baseball season. While most of you may think this is just going to be another step in the rebuilding process, I am here to argue otherwise.

Have the Braves been abysmal over the past few seasons to say the least? Do the additions of pitchers that are old enough to retire once this season concludes? Yes. But, this is no ordinary rebuilding franchise. This is a franchise that not only ranks number one in the minor league farm system, but also is ready to compete now, not later.
