Charlie Woerner, a 6-5, 250 LB hybrid Tight End/Wide Receiver could be the most dangerous weapon on Georgia’s football team. And that is saying something with the likes of Eason, Chubb, Michel, and Nauta out there. The reality is that he is a match-up nightmare for Linebackers and Safeties in man coverage, and has the hands to get the ball.

Woerner struggled in 2016 with nagging ailments, but no one ever complained about his work ethic. If Woerner were to show out this Spring, it would give Eason another go-to weapon, and cause defenses to account for a body with speed down the middle that would free up the run and boundary passing game. For Georgia to be at its best, they need Woerner out there blocking down field and stretching defenses.
