  1. Braves Continue to Try and Acquire Bench Help

Braves fans know that their bench is not their strongest point headed into the season and hope that the rumors are true that soon the Braves will address that issue. A bench that has Kurt Suzuki, Jace Peterson, and Emilio Bonifacio is not going to impress anyone with their pinch hitting ability or offensive fire power.

Jace Peterson and Emilio Bonifacio are much the same player in some ways light hitting infielders who have learned to play different positions to give them more value. That value is what is keeping them both on the roster right now that and the fact for Jace that he has shown flashes of being a good player.

Angel Pagan has been one name that seems to keep popping up in connection with the Braves but recent reports seem to indicate that the Braves are more likely to acquire another bench player through a trade. While any more that improves the bench is a good one it is hard not to hope for Pagan considering his track record and the fact he would fill the hole that Braves have perfectly. It would also allow the Braves to not play infielders in center to give Ender Inciarte a day off.
