  1. Fire Brian Snitker

There seems to be at least a portion of Braves fans that already is talking about firing Snitker or him being on the hot seat before the season has even begun. It is confusing considering that it seems to be the same fan base that was so adamant that Snitker should be brought back after the hot finish to the season that the Braves had.

Snitker is a decent manager but also a product of the front office that will follow instruction. What is most important is how the players respond to him and if they like the veteran coach. The dugout seems to have a healthy respect for Snitker and as long as that remains the case he deserves not to be fired and to keep his job. A manager cannot be expected to win with the roster he has had making his late run last season all the more impressive.

It is easy to call for a manager’s head when the team has struggled but is unfair to be pulling for a new manager this early in the season. Four our part we hope that this rumor is true only in that fact that it is just that a rumor that will soon die down once the season begins.
