The 2017 incarnation of the Georgia Football program began Spring practice Tuesday, March 21st, and these five players need a breakout Spring for their future and the team’s future.

The 5 star recruit from LaGrange, Ga., has been remarkably consistent in his two years in Athens. Godwin averaged 10.8 yards/reception on 35 catches in 2015 and 10.4 yards/reception on 38 catches in 2016. That was with two different Offensive Coordinators and two different Quarterbacks.

But the 2017 Dawgs need Godwin to break through and break out this year. With Isaiah McKenzie leaving for the NFL Draft, it falls to Godwin to man the slot position and produce at a higher level. In addition, McKenzie was a prodigious and prolific Punt Returner, and Godwin has a chance to take that spot. Georgia needs Terry Godwin to flash that five-star speed and turn Special Teams into a weapon.
