Atlanta Braves: Previewing and Projecting the Rotation

The Atlanta Braves focus this past off-season was improving their rotation and adding more experience to a unit that struggled in 2016. Here are the projections and outlook for the Braves rotation.
Adding starting pitching was the focus for the Atlanta Braves and exactly what they did with R.A. Dickey,Jaime Garcia, and Bartolo Colon. Three veteran arms may not be what the Braves fans had in mind but it does make the team and roster much better.
The Braves biggest weakness will be the age of their rotation and lack of bench depth. Adding the starters that they have indicates that the Braves are attempting to add innings eaters until their young trove of pitching proves themselves ready.
Spring training has been a struggle for both Colon and Dickey with the starters unable to give the team many quality innings. It should’t concern fans however, considering neither player has historically put up good spring numbers. Here are our projections for the 2017 Braves rotation:
