  1. Bartolo Colon

Bartolo Colon is one of the more interesting adds of the Braves off-season he seems to have been as much a mascot for the Mets in recent season as a player. That isn’t a knock on his production only speaking to his personality and the fun loving attitude he brings when he is on the mound.

Whether it is taking huge cuts at the plate or playing catch with himself on the mound Colon will bring a good attitude and fresh perspective to the Braves contract. The only negative aspect to Colon is the fact he is a convicted PED user in the past, interestingly enough this doesn’t seem to get held against him. While it seems to have villainized many baseball players no hard feelings seem to be harbored against Colon.

Projected Statline-12-7 record-3.87 ERA-196 Innings Pitched-135 K’s

Colon is an innings eater who will continue the impressive run that he has been on in his old age. Eating innings and keeping the Mets in games is what he was known for in New York and that trend is going to continue in Atlanta.

The question surrounding Colon is if the Braves fall out of contention early will Colon remain on the Braves roster?
