The Masters Golf Tournament tees off tomorrow, and the winner’s life will forever change. In one of sports’ toughest tests, the following 10 factors will choose the 2017 champion.

1. The Weather.

The Augusta National Golf Course doesn’t need any help being challenging. In fact, some of the most difficult tournaments are when the weather is beautiful, but the greens are dried out. But that won’t be the story this year. Apparently, somebody invited mother nature to the party.

Forecasts for Thursday and Friday even have players smirking. Thursday with rain and wind up around W 25 MPH. I have news for you. That is almost impossible. Friday, then, sunny, but with a WNW 25 MPH wind. That, by the way, is sustained wind. Gusts up around 40 MPH both days. Big wind both days, but from different directions.

Then the course dries out in time for the back nine on Sunday. What they’re all thinking is, “Well, we all have to play in it.”. That’s true. But that’s also the thing. They all have to play in it, and on that course.
