- Is Dansby Swanson the future of the Atlanta Braves? Anyone who follows the Braves during the offseason knows that Swanson was a hot topic in trade talks. Atlanta was looking to secure a Cy Young arm the likes of Chris Sale, and the Braves held back because of how much they treasured Swanson. But, what if I said that in a huge twist of events the Braves looked to trade the hometown kid for an All Star the likes of a Chris Sale or even Mike Trout? You can’t possibly tell me it hasn’t crossed your mind seeing his play so far this season.
