With their robust reclamation and reconstruction project in full swing, the Atlanta Braves needed new faces and additions to contribute in 2017. These five players have done just that.

Nobody knows whether these aforementioned ballin’ Braves will continue their high level of contribution for the rest of the year. Reality is that these guys are a mix of reclamation projects, veterans in the twilight of their career, or kids trying to stay in the Bigs.

But we do know, and should recognize, that the fact the these Atlanta Braves, our Atlanta Braves, are this competitive, this far into the season, without Freddie Freeman, and without any kind of starting pitching to brag about, is amazing. It is amazing and awesome. And is in large part due to the play of these guys.
