The Atlanta Braves are teetering on that fine line between being buyers or sellers in 2017. But there are moves needed in the coming off-season regardless.

Yu Darvish SP. Arriving to the MLB in 2012 Japanese native Yu Darvish was sensational for the Texas Rangers. Finishing his first season 16-9 with a 3.90 ERA is certainly not a bad way to make some noise around the league. After suffering a season ending arm injury, and undergoing Tommy John Surgery in 2015, the Japanese sensation’s momentum hit a screeching halt. While returning to the mound is never an easy task, after this depleting injury Darvish returned after missing the entire 2015 season posting a 7-5 record with a 3.41 ERA in 17 appearances. According to Evan Grant of SportsDay, the Rangers are considering letting Darvish walk into free agency rather than giving him a large junk of their cap. Hello Atlanta, Darvish is certainly a pitcher worth taking a chance on especially since he is 31, and not in his 40’s.
