The Atlanta Braves are teetering on that fine line between being buyers or sellers in 2017. But there are moves needed in the coming off-season regardless.

Craig Kimbrel RHP. Don’t even try and kid yourself into thinking you weren’t hoping one day Welcome to the Jungle wouldn’t blast throughout SunTrust Park signaling the game was over, and the Braves won. The Braves once most prized possession in the bullpen was traded back to the San Diego Padres in 2015 in one of the more painful trades in the last few years, and currently resides with the Boston Red Sox. The good news is after the 2017 season Kimbrel becomes a free agent according to MLB Trade Rumors, and it just so happens the Braves bullpen is in need of revamping. The Huntsville, Alabama native has had an illustrious career averaging a 1.81 ERA, and while with Atlanta averaged a 1.27 ERA. This season Kimbrel is on track to be the best closer in baseball, but part of me thinks Kimbrel would always keep an ear open for a phone call from Peachtree City.
