Major League Baseball just held and finished its amateur draft for 2017. The Atlanta Braves, like most teams, have a history of hit and miss. Here is a review.

2013: (RHP) Jason Hursh- 31st Overall

Jason Hursh, a big thrower from Texas, kind of gets short shrift due to the fact that Atlanta took him one spot ahead of Aaron Judge. Yes, that Aaron Judge.

But Hursh shows promise. So much so that he is currently with the big team and will come out of the bullpen. In 4 innings pitched, Hursh has a 2.25 ERA. It will be interesting to see if he can stay in “The Show” for the remainder of 2017.
