Being an Atlanta Braves fan has not been easy for the past few years and suggesting trading valuable pieces may not be a popular sentiment but bear with the reasoning for a bit before deciding it is best for the Braves to stand pat.

The Braves have the luxury of having pieces to move that would not hurt the team and in some cases would make them a more complete contender. But for now hope remains that the Braves will be able to contend. With that in mind here are five players the Braves should move before the deadline.
