  1. Easier Said than done may be an understatement for this one

Adonis Garcia has long been a piece that the Braves should have moved on from in favor of a veteran piece or a young prospect like Rio Ruiz. The problem with this one is Garica’s injury and how long it will keep the third baseman out.

If he is unable to come back by the trade deadline the Braves could attempt to pass him through trade waivers to allow him to become eligible to be traded. Which brings the second problem up, with his age and injury problems this year how much value would Garcia have on the trade market?

That is a question that only the Braves will be able to answer and one they will have to weigh against the option of keeping Garcia on the Braves bench. He has proven to surprise and come above expectations so far giving him a chance off the bench could be an option if his trade value is less than having his bat on the bench would be.

Regardless of the Braves decision to trade or not trade Garcia his time as the Braves starting third baseman is coming to a close.
