  1. AJ Ramos

Okay, so maybe in division trading is a long shot but it is a trade that would make sense for both teams. The worst kept secret in baseball right now is that the Marlins will trade anyone for the right price if it cuts salary.

It is also no secret that Jim Johnson has been less than reliable and struggled badly since June. While Ramos has his struggles as well he is a bit younger and would give the Braves a much needed solid arm out of the pen as they attempt to hang in the wildcard race while also thinking about the future.

Signing Ramos past this season as a closer or a set-up man would be a great move for the Braves considering they could likely buy low on Ramos right now.  Ramos has 89 career saves and has a decent track record that would easily make him the most reliable arm in the Braves pen.

While that may not be much of a compliment it is a move that would improve the team both now and likely in the future. The problem would be if the Marlins would be willing to deal Ramos within the division.
