  1. Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson is really the first quarterback that got the ball rolling with the new style of play and many other teams have tried to copy the Seahawks success. Often lost behind one of the best defenses in recent NFL history and Marshawn Lynch (Best Mode) is how well Wilson played and how good he has been since he came into the NFL.

Thought to be undersized and not a strong enough arm Wilson has proved every single thing scouts thought about him wrong. The Seahawks quarterback quickly established himself and is still easily a top ten quarterback but has shown some signs of heading in the wrong direction.

He will need to be able to win big games for his team now that the defense is no longer as elite as it once was. There is no Marshawn to hide behind either now all the pressure is squarely on Russell Wilson and he will respond as he always has.

Wilson is not only a model athlete and sportsman on the field but carries himself the same way when he is off the field. Spending much of his time and money helping better others his kindness and sportsmanship is a rarity that shouldn’t be overlooked.
