  1. Cody Kessler

While it was a very small sample size Browns fans have to be semi-hopeful with Kessler. While you may not be able to find a Cody Kessler “sizzle reel” what you will find a young gunslinger in the making. The Browns are trending upwards with Kessler likely to be the starter.

It is hard to see much other competition on the roster Kessler should be the Brown’s starting quarterback for the season. One of the best things about Kessler is his ability to improvise in the pocket and keep plays alive.

Not only that but for a young quarterback playing for what was the weakest roster in football he showed impressive down the field vision and poise through any struggles that he hit. Another interesting note on Kessler is the fact that in a small sample size he had a better QBR rating then several notable starting quarterbacks on this list.

Kessler for once should have Browns fans feeling a bit optimistic about their future behind a quarterback who could start both this season and seasons to come. The reason he is ranked so low on the list? Two reasons the first he is yet to prove he can start at the same level a complete season and the second he is playing for the Cleveland Browns.
