Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is coming off of his best season to date. Winning the MVP and making it to the Super Bowl highlighted what was a great year for the best offense in the League. Should fans expect Ryan to regress this season?

The Atlanta Falcons had their best season in the last decade tearing up defenses with their high powered offense and riding that offense all the way to the Super Bowl. Matt Ryan was the biggest reason for the teams success on his way to winning an MVP award.

Ryan improved all levels of his game though the most noticeable was the lack of turnovers and the down the field accuracy. His footwork in the backfield was improved as well in turn giving him the ability to better move in the pocket and make better throws.

With that in mind Matt Ryan is going to regress very little this season if any. Some regression should be expected slightly considering that Ryan is coming off of a career year. His footwork and new found accuracy however, are likely not to change and should help him have another great season.

The only game slippage that fans should watch is the play calling with their offensive coordinator now head coaching a team of his own it will be interesting to see the effect it will have on Ryan. Our best guess is that the difference will be very slight.

Ryan has improved many areas of his game including his diet and conditioning. Those are things that Ryan has improved drastically over the last few seasons and their continued effect will not be going anywhere.

Much the same as the improved accuracy and footwork. Turnovers and limiting them is the biggest thing to watch for Ryan when he is able to prevent turning the ball over he is an elite quarterback as for the stretches that he is prone to throw a pick or put the ball on the ground the Falcons will have a very hard time winning obviously.  Turnovers will be the tell if Ryan regresses this season.
