The Georgia Bulldogs took care of business after starting slow against Appalachian State. The Dawgs gave up two late fourth quarter scores making the final score 31-10.

Georgia Bulldogs fans got their first taste of victory this season with the Dawgs knocking off App. State 31-10. Pitching a shut-out until the last quarter when the starting defense was pulled from the game.

No doubt the biggest story of the game is the injury to Jacob Eason. Eason was injured early in the first quarter on what was a cheap shot on Eason. Attempting to scramble Eason was headed out of bounds and well out when he was shoved from behind and twisted his knee.

The extent of the injury is unknown at this point as well as who is the starter. Our best guess is that after his early struggles it will be hard to put Eason back in at starter. Eason missed his throws early in the game and looked wild.

After the injury freshman Jake Fromm entered the game and stabilized the offense that was headed up by a Nick Chubb and Sony Michel. Both running backs looked good and ran well behind a surprisingly physical offensive line.

Both scores that Georgia allowed were the result of a turnover that Brice Ramsey served up when the game was well within hand. The two picks were not surprising from a quarterback that has struggled with turnovers and wasn’t expected to see any time on the field.
