The Atlanta Braves are set for what could be their biggest off-season yet. With big trade targets on their roster and plenty of moves to make the Braves are set for a very big off-season.

The Atlanta Braves are set for what could be their busiest off-season yet under the new regime. While it remains to be seen if the Braves will attempt to build a contending team they will have plenty of moves they have to make to move forward as an organization.

The most interesting position to watch this off-season may be the outfield. We know that Ender Inciarte is entrenched in center field and not going anywhere we also know that one of Nick Markakis and Matt Kemp will be dealt this off-season.

Dealing one of the two players will allow the Braves to give Ronald Acuna the ability to win a Big League job. Kemp will likely be the player to depart with the Braves having to eat at least part of his salary and getting little of a return due to his injuries and recent slumps.

Starting pitcher will be the second biggest position of interest. Will the Braves trade Julio Teheran or finally trade for the ace they have been trying to get for two years? Who fills out the rotation and if the Braves continue to look for bargain starters will be an early indication of if this team is trying to compete.

Bullpen arms, a starting third-baseman, and at least one catcher will complete the list of obvious holes that the Braves will address.  At catcher Tyler Flowers will likely continue to start with this season’s success and the Braves will add a back-up.

No doubt the Braves are set for what will be a very interesting off-season.
