Georgia Bulldogs: Should Start Jake Fromm or Jacob Eason?
By Kit Anderson
The Georgia Bulldogs are sticking with Jake Fromm for at least another week but with Jacob Eason getting healthier each week which quarterback should start? Both quarterbacks are more than capable of being above average SEC starters.
The Georgia Bulldogs have been brilliant so far this season coasting to an undefeated record six weeks into the season. The defense has been the early story this season. What has also been the focus since the first game this season is which quarterback should have the starting job.
Coming into the season Jacob Eason was the starter with Jake Fromm providing a bit of insurance and encouragement for Eason to stay focused. One game into the season Eason left on a cheap shot sideline hit and Fromm entered the game and has remained the starter since.
Eason may have the better arm of the two players but there is no arguing that Fromm moves better in the pocket and provides more of a dual threat than Eason.
Fromm will likely remain the starter as along as Georgia continues to win and he doesn’t turn the ball over continually. Eason has proven that he is a very clutch player with game winning drives last season.

But even with seniority and more experience it is going to be hard to put Eason back in as long as Fromm continues to do enough for the Bulldogs to win.
Jacob Eason has the ability to throw the ball down the field more so than Fromm and because of that when Alabama or Auburn come knocking it may be Eason that Georgia has to look to and not Jake Fromm.
