Atlanta Braves: Should Target Todd Frazier

The Atlanta Braves should consider filling the hole at third base this season by targeting Todd Frazier. Despite a season full of struggles Frazier is a proven player that could prove to be a bargain.
The Atlanta Braves are in the middle of a front office scandal that has left a lot of questions as to the direction that the Braves will head this off-season. The team is in need of pitching and will likely look to try and trade an outfielder.
Third base is another area that the Braves will look to improve. A position that hasn’t had stability since Chipper Jones left the Braves. While there may be some hope that a system player will soon be able to handle the position it is clear that is not a starter on the Braves current roster.
Todd Frazier should be the Braves first call when they look to add a third baseman this off-season. Frazier is in the middle of a down season that has seen the veteran struggle after getting off to a horrible start for Chicago.
Frazier is a solid power hitter that would slot well into the lower portion of the Braves lineup and likely come at a discounted price compared to the value that he potentially could bring to the team in a bounce back season.
While there will be other interesting names set to hit the market Frazier is the best fit for the Braves and should be brought to Atlanta if they can sign him to a deal that would not block future prospects.
