  1. Ender Inciarte

Ender Inciarte was the Braves best player in 2017. The season that Ender put together made him not only the Braves best performing player but put him on the map as one of the best center fielders in the game.

His defensive runs saved says just how good he is in center field. He plays center field with an ability that Braves fans haven’t seen in a very long time. Add in a .300 plus average all season and a 200 hit season and it is easy to say that he was the Braves best player on the diamond in 2017.

That doesn’t include the fact that Inciarte hit a new career high in homers and  yet continued to strike out less than 100 times in a full season. A leadoff hitter who strikes out at such a low rate in today’s baseball is rare and incredibly valuable.

Inciarte is a very good player who could prove to be great. His ability both at the plate and in the outfield makes him a special player who may maintain his spot on this list in the years to come.

No doubt Inciarte has given the Braves confidence that they have found both their center fielder and their leadoff hitter for years to come.
