Atlanta Braves: Interested in Bringing Back Peter Moylan
By Kit Anderson
The Atlanta Braves have a known need to add to their bullpen and are interested in bringing back Peter Moylan to help solidify the bullpen. Moylan is a veteran who has resurrected his career and would be a good fit in Atlanta.
The Atlanta Braves are looking to add to the bullpen and are reportedly interested in bringing back Peter Moylan. Moylan has spent the last two seasons with the Royals are the Braves brought Moylan on as a player/coach in 2015.
Bringing Moylan back to the Braves bullpen would help provide a veteran leader as well as a productive arm that has maintained a strong ERA and ability to get out of tough situations over the last two seasons.
At 38 years old it is also doubtful that Moylan would demand a huge salary and would likely give the Braves a chance to sign him at a rate that would bring him back to his first team when he debuted in 2006.
Moylan has a career ERA of 3.00 and would provide a great bullpen option for a team with a lot of questions in a bullpen that looks less than impressive.
The fact that the Braves are already tied to Moylan shows that under new leadership they will remain active on the free agent and trade markets as well.
The Braves are not the only team to express interest in Peter Moylan. The Baltimore Orioles have expressed interest in adding Peter Moylan as well. Moylan would be a great fit in Atlanta and it would not be at all surprising to see Moylan as a Brave.
