The Atlanta Falcons will catch yet another injury break on Monday night when they head to face the Seattle Seahawks in primetime.  After catching breaks against the Dallas Cowboys the Falcons will face an injured Seattle defense.

The Atlanta Falcons demolished the Dallas Cowboys last weekend but caught multiple injury breaks and will keep that luck rolling in Seattle. The Seahawks were already without their top corner Richard Sherman and now will lose another key player on defense.

The Seahawk’s enforcer Kam Chancellor is now expected to be out for the season and leaves the Seahawks very vulnerable in the secondary.

Losing Richard Sherman hurts the Seahawks especially considering that they will now have to attempt to double cover Julio Jones without any corner or safety capable of slowing him down alone.

Chancellor being out makes the secondary much weaker and will open up the passing attack for Matt Ryan. If the Falcons can have any semblance of a running attack to keep the Seattle pass rush honest Ryan could be set up for his best game of the season.

While Seattle still has plenty of talent to win at home injuries to the secondary are a huge boost to the Falcon’s win chances on Monday night in Seattle.

For the Falcons they will be without starting running back Devonta Freeman who is struggling to overcome another concussion. Freeman suffered his third career head injury and will likely be out for an extended period of time.
