The Atlanta Braves and John Hart have decided to part ways as the Braves look to put their current front office scandal behind them and head back towards contention. Hart will not face any punishment for the scandal.

The Atlanta Braves have parted ways with front office executive John Hart. After forcing their former GM out, John Hart has followed not far behind in the middle of a scandal that has put a scar on the Braves’ franchise.

John Hart has been a good front office exec and General Manager in his career ,his time in Atlanta however, will be remembered unfortunately for this scandal that Hart may or may not have been a part of.

The difficult thing for Braves fans to understand is how Hart didn’t know what was going on within his own front office. If he was unaware then he was negligent as best. At worst Hart was aware of the team’s infractions and let them happen.

Regardless, the Braves and John Hart made great decisions moving on from each other and allowing the Braves to put the leadership that led to the scandal behind them.

With a new and very capable GM in Alex Anthopoulos, Hart’s presence was no longer needed and the Braves will look to head towards contention under new leadership.
