5. Tim Tebow begins and helps lead Florida Gators win 38-28 against the Arkansas Razorbacks

This is the game that brought the Gators back to SEC relevance it has been over a decade since the game that really started Tim Tebow’s path to sports stardom in a crazy duel that was full of NFL level talent.

For the Razorbacks they were carried by their star back Darren McFadden who would soon turn pro and is still playing in the NFL as a member of the Cowboys.  Percy Harvin made the biggest play of the game arguably for the Gators gashing the defense for a long score giving the Gators a needed boost and the ability to hang on in this one.

What is often missed in this game is how many plays that Chris Leak made for the Gators along with Tim Tebow in a very successful quarterback platoon. Florida finished the game strong and road that high to a national championship.

What is often forgotten about this game is how the Razorbacks were beaten so soundly in the first minutes of the game and came back to make it a 31-28 game and making this one of the more exciting and high scoring SEC championships that were played in the Georgia Dome.
