4. Georgia Bulldogs fall to the Alabama Regime 32-28 in Thriller

The 2012 SEC championship game was the best in recent memory full of future NFL players and a great game that went down to the final snaps of the game. If you wanted an SEC championship with big names and equally big plays this was it.

Todd Gurley, Eddie Lacy, T.J. Yeldon, Amari Cooper, AJ McCarron, Chris Conley, and Alec Ogletree are just a few of the notable names that were involved in this game and all made big plays and key moments in the Georgia Dome.

A Gurley touchdown run and a blocked punt returned for a touchdown put Georgia up 21-10 early in the first half a lead that still assuredly haunts many players on the Bulldogs side.

It was all the Alabama run game for quite some time after that with Lacy and Yeldon both ripping off big runs for scores that would put Alabama back in front and set the stage for one of the most exciting finishes in an SEC championship game.

Gurley again answered for Georgia with another grown man run that put Georgia up by three 28-25 giving the ball back to Alabama.

Amari Cooper quickly answered on a long score that would put Alabama ahead for good. Georgia drove the ball down and had first and goal with nine seconds left and threw a comeback route allowing time to expire and ending one of the more exciting SEC championship games that has been played.
