The Atlanta Falcons hung on to beat the Seattle Seahawks 34-31 putting them in the playoffs if the season ended today and getting the team back on track. Does a win in Seattle mean the Falcons are back on track?

The Atlanta Falcons put together a great performance in Seattle the toughest place to play in all of football. Matt Ryan led the Falcons to an early two score lead and helped maintain that lead until the end.

For Seattle they were led by Russell Wilson who was indefensible at times on Monday night. Wilson’s ability to scramble and keep plays alive may be the best in the League. Wilson pulled the Seahawks within 3 and with seven seconds left the Seahawks attempted a long field goal that would have tied the game.

Blair Walsh didn’t give the kick enough leg and the Falcons hung on to win 34-31 putting them back in the playoffs if the season ended today.  At 6-4 on the season the Falcons would be the second wild-card due to the fact they hold the tie over both the Seahawks and Detroit Lions.

Matt Ryan led an offensive attack that looked to again be finding it’s form putting up plenty of points in Seattle and the defense answered as they have for most of the season giving the Falcons a win and putting them back in the playoffs.
