The Atlanta Braves have made their way into the trade rumors surrounding the Miami Marlins and their outfielders with reported interest in Christian Yelich. Could the Braves land Yelich with an already overfilled outfield?

Matt Kemp, Nick Markakis, and Ender Inciarte make up an already crowded Atlanta Braves outfield with Lane Adams playing well last season and young prospect Ronald Acuna likely joining the starting lineup this coming season.

The fact that the Atlanta Braves are interested in another outfielder is surprising but given his value it does make sense. Yelich is one of the under appreciated talents in the National League with great defense and consistent offense at the plate.

The Atlanta Braves rumored interest makes sense and likely signals that if possible both Nick Markakis and Matt Kemp are headed out the door.

Trading Kemp will likely require that the Braves eat a lot of salary and will likely get little return for Markakis considering the money left on his deal.

If the Braves were able to land Christian Yelich there is no question it would take a load of prospects and could be well worth it considering how strong it would make the Atlanta defense and how improved the lineup would be.

Yelich is rumored to be on the move though there are conflicting sources on how willing the Marlins actually are to part with the outfielder.

Yelich would likely slot into right field with Acuna gaining experience in left lessening the pressure on the highly anticipated rookie.  Stay tuned as the Braves off-season truly begins to get underway.
