February is here and the Atlanta Braves are now closing in on Spring Training. Despite their quiet off-season there are plenty of moves that the Braves should be making before the 2018 season begins.

Atlanta Braves spring training is closing in and the biggest moves the Braves front office made this off-season was subtracting from their roster. Trading Matt Kemp and letting Jace Peterson and Matt Adams walk were the most notable changes.

Making limited moves this off-season wasn’t surprising after the Braves were forced to change leadership amid a front office scandal. Because of that the Braves have taken a slow approach to making moves attempting to learn their personnel before making any big moves.

Ronald Acuna and Dansby Swanson will be the Braves biggest attractions this season with both young players likely cornerstones of the Braves’ future. Swanson will be entering his second Major League season as a starter and Acuna will be looking to crack the Majors for the first time.
