The Atlanta Hawks are one of the NBA’s worst teams a year after making it into the playoffs. Despite their lack of talent however, the Hawks continue to give a 100 percent effort every night on the floor.

Watching the Atlanta Hawks this season has been tough at times but far from as embarrassing as it should be based on the roster. The effort and game planning that the Hawks bring to the floor every night speaks to the coaching staff and a positive culture despite the rebuild.

The Atlanta Hawks’ coaching staff has done a wonderful job keeping the Hawks watchable and competitive during a rebuild that is tearing the team down to the seams.

Kent Bazemore deserves credit as well always bringing energy and an ability to make a play on defense or get a clutch bucket. He has made two game winning shots already this year and is an exciting player to watch, playing hard on every night.

Hawk’s Head Coach Mike Budenholzer deserves so much credit for the game plan and effort that he is having his team bring during a season that they have very little talent on the roster.

Kent Bazemore is likely the second best player on the team, a player who on a playoff team would likely be a 6th or 7th option at best as a depth piece.

The Atlanta Hawks may be rebuilding but they are continuing to bring the effort and heart they have for years as a playoff team.   Atlanta Hawks fans may have a long rebuild ahead of them but they can rest assured that as long as Coach Bud is in charge there will be quality basketball to watch in Atlanta.
