Will the Falcons aim for an offensive or defensive playmaker in round two?

In terms of their second-round pick, the Atlanta Falcons will be choosing 58th overall.

If they aren’t able to address the guard position in round one, another option in round two could be Isaiah Wynn.

Although there was speculation earlier this offseason that Wynn might go round one, those rumors seem to have cooled down over the last few weeks. Wynn would be a perfect fit for a team looking to build their offensive line.

One option we discussed in a previous article was a wide receiver, and D.J Chark could end up being a good value pick for the Falcons.

If the Falcons decide to open up their offense more next year, Chark would be a great deep threat for the team. A much-needed threat considering the Falcon’s lack of depth at the position.

Although there are questions about his route-running skills, he would provide a solid replacement for Taylor Gabriel.

The last option in the second round is Josh Sweat, who would be much higher if not for injury concerns.

Sweat suffered a major knee injury, but is still an extremely athletic player, and would be a great fit among the Falcon’s defensive line.
