Another Padre to Stabilize the Pen

Brad Hand would be an interesting addition to the Atlanta Braves bullpen. He is a lefty who utilizes movement and an odd delivery to fool hitters.

Capable of closing or getting consistent outs, adding Hand to the Braves’ bullpen would be a great move, but a costly one.

Hand has just turned into a consistent reliever over the last three years. The years before were filled with inconsistencies and struggles, including blowing 6 of 7 save chances. All of that to say, Hand would be a good addition, but only for the right price.

Bullpen pieces are not hard to find in baseball. Plenty of teams are willing to sell solid relievers. Because of that, the Braves should ask about Hand, knowing they have other options if the price is too high.

Hand is currently a closer and for a team with few games to close. With no true opportunity in San Diego, he will likely be on the move.
