Aaron Rodgers– Aaron Rodgers has had some bad blood brewing with Green Bay this offseason. First, it started with the team getting rid of Quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt without discussing the move with Rodgers. Then, the Packers let go of Rodgers’ favorite target, Wide Receiver Jordy Nelson.

They were able to acquire Jimmy Graham in free agency but it still might not have made up for the miscommunication. Rodgers’ relationship with the Packers may be repaired if they compensate him for his epic performances over the past five years.

Prior to 2017, Rodgers had taken Green Bay to eight straight playoff appearances and a Super Bowl win. We are seeing quarterbacks such as Kirk Cousins, Sam Bradford, and Alex Smith receive ridiculous contracts so it’s suspected that we see Rodgers call the shots in how he should be compensated.

Matt Ryan has instilled a winning culture in Atlanta so his big payday is expected. Rodgers is arguably the best QB in the NFL now so he will most likely break the bank with his extension the way Ryan did.

There is already pressure on Ryan to win a Super Bowl now after receiving such a huge deal. Yes, Rodgers already has a ring, but given the expectations of him as the best quarterback in the league, many will expect him to deliver Green Bay another championship after his extension also.
