With two seventh-rounders, were the Falcons able to improve their team at all?

The pick: Wilrey Fontenot, Cornerback, 212th overall

Their impact: Fontenot never saw time on the active roster. No impact.

Who else was available that round?: Madden Cover Boy Peyton Hillis was still available.

Should the Falcons have gone with a one-year wonder? Probably not.

Instead, they would have been better off taking Stevie Johnson, who went to the Bills.

But Justin, you just redrafted them Garcon, why do they need Johnson?

Because the two are completely different types of receivers, and Johnson was more consistent.

Stevie Johnson might be most known for his Twitter rant against God, but he had three straight 1,000 yard seasons.

Would they switch the pick?: Yes. Since we’re getting rid of Harry Douglas, I feel comfortable with the team getting Garcon AND Johnson.

Although Fontenot has the better last name, Johnson nearly broke Revis Island and was solid in Buffalo.
