The Atlanta Falcons have had a quiet off-season with one noted exception. Julio Jones made changes to his social media. Changes that have fans questioning if the star receiver could be on the move from Atlanta?
Julio Jones is the Atlanta Falcon’s best player and is arguably the best receiver in the League. With that comes an obsessive social media following trying to decipher every post. Julio Jones deleted many of his social media references and connections to the Falcons.
Obviously, in a social media age where everything is a cryptic message, this points to Julio Jones being unhappy in Atlanta.
Julio Jones has been the consummate professional during his time in Atlanta. All of the talent of a star receiver without any of the typical diva actions. A receiver like Jones isn’t just rare it is nonexistent.
Julio Jones is a freakish athlete to the point you begin to question how any human could make the plays he makes?
Jones is being underpaid and may be due to get a raise and an extension in the immediate future. Still, there isn’t any need to worry about Julio Jones leaving Atlanta.
Even if there were truth to the rumors the Falcons would do what it takes to make Jones content not trade him. Jones is a once in a lifetime player one the Falcons wouldn’t trade.
Julio is quiet and reserved and will not make a splash asking the Falcons to deal him. It has been reported Jones simply wanted a fresh start on social media.
It seems likely the receiver wasn’t sending any messages to the fans through his social media. Julio Jones is a Falcon and that isn’t going to change anytime soon.
Forget the trade whispers surrounding Julio Jones, he isn’t leaving Atlanta. Not only will he stay in Atlanta through his current contract but look for a raise and extension to come quickly for the best receiver in the League.
