Let’s take a look at how the 2009 redraft ended up looking for the team.

At the conclusion of our 2009 redraft, our picks are Clay Matthews, Thomas Moore, Jerraud Powers, Austin Collie, Kevin Huber, Garrett Reynolds, Jason McCourty, Michael Bennett.

We grabbed one linebacker, one safety, two corners, one wide receiver, one punter, one offensive lineman, and one defensive tackle.

They will be joined by our 2008 redraft which included Matt Ryan, Duane Brown, Calais Campbell, Jamaal Charles, Cliff Avril, Thomas DeCoud, Brandon Carr, Carl Nicks, Pierre Garcon, Stevie Johnson, and David Hawthorne.

This a group in their prime would erase the years the Falcons struggled to make the playoffs. Making a questionable defense one of the best in the League.

Overall we have built a pretty solid group during the last two years.

Are there other players that you all prefer? Should the Falcons have drafted someone else that I didn’t mention above?
