3.  The Braves Could Have the Best Outfield in Baseball

Bryce Harper is a top three player in all of baseball. Such a player rarely hits the open market and when they do you can count almost every team in. The Braves make sense for Harper for many reasons.

They have a slot open in right field with Nick Markakis entering free agency and they have the salary.  Their roster is constructed to allow them to contend for quite some time and the team has protection in the lineup.

Bryce Harper, Freddie Freeman, Ozzie Albies, and Ronald Acuna Jr. all hitting in the same lineup is enough to make any Braves fan excited.  An outfield of Inciarte, Acuna, and Harper would be easily the best trio in baseball.

Harper would bring power to the team as well, one of the few commodities they lack.  His flair would be a debatable plus to the team as well but it would certainly push them further into relevance.

My only issue with this move is just how much money the Braves would have to pour into Harper. Is any player worth the contract he will want?

That is a debate the Braves front office is no doubt already having and will continue to have as the off-season pulls closer. No matter the price Harper will be tempting a splashy add sure to make the Braves into National League East favorites for years to come.
