Dez Bryant is still being trashed in the media and jobless after the NFL draft. Could the veteran wide-receiver find a home with the Atlanta Falcons?

Dez Bryant coming to Atlanta may have a low probability but it is a move the Falcons should at least explore. Bryant is reportedly garnering very little interest with some teams refusing to sign him even for the minimum.

Paired with plenty of heat coming from his former team Dez is having a hard time finding a job. Because of that, he might consider the Atlanta Falcons on a prove it deal. A deal with very little salary considering the Falcons limited cap space.

While this is simply an opinion or a hot take depending on your preference there is little reason the Falcons shouldn’t at least consider the move. Dez is angry after taking an off-season full of heat. He will be coming into the season with a lot to prove.

For the Falcons they would have a chance to add the best receiver depth of any team in the League. With Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, Calvin Ridley, and Mohamed Sanu the Falcons would have the best receiver group in the League.

This move is unlikely to happen both because the Falcons are unlikely to explore the move and limited cap space. Regardless, adding Bryant to this group would be a splashy move for an offense already projected to be at the top of the League.

Headed into a season with the Super Bowl being hosted in Atlanta, it is time for the Falcons to make every move possible to win.

Bryant is coming off of a bad season where he led the League in drops. It isn’t a secret without Tony Romo Bryant has taken a huge step back.

Moving on to another veteran quarterback like Matt Ryan would be a great move for both sides. Being able to cycle their receivers off the field regularly keeping their deep threats fresh would be an advantage unique to the Falcons.
