The Cowboys lost a lot of talent this offseason, but will they beat Atlanta this year?

Over the last few months, the Cowboys have lost Jason Witten, Dez Bryant, Anthony Hitchens, and Orlando Scandrick.

Although it’s only four players, they were all starters last season.

The team will enter the season with Allen Hurns and Cole Beasley as their two best receiving options.

Ezekiel Elliot could have another great season, but is it enough to overcome their other issues?

How the Falcons Win: Stop the run.

Atlanta will go into this game with stopping the run as their biggest goal.

Elliot is one of the best running backs in the NFL, but the rest of their offense is iffy.

I still think Dak Prescott could be a special quarterback, but he had struggles last season.

At least one positive for Dallas is that they’ll have Tyron Smith back, so I don’t expect another six sacks from one player.

X-Factor of the Game: Dak Prescott.

I feel like it has to be Dak, because we’re automatically expecting a big game from Zeke.

After throwing 13 interceptions last year, people said Prescott had a sophomore slump.

Will he bounce back in his third season or was his rookie year an anomaly?

If he comes into the game and plays like he did as a rookie, this game should be fairly close.

Predicted Score: Falcons win 20-17.

I feel like this one will be close, but Atlanta will score to take the lead late in the fourth quarter.

Most people might not expect the Falcons to be 8-2 at this point in the season, but I think it’s realistic.
