After beating the Panthers in week two, Carolina will be looking for revenge. Will they win this late season match-up?

As we head into week 16, the Falcons are currently sitting at 10-4 and should be a top-four seed in the NFC.

Will they be able to improve their position or will they struggle in Carolina?

I will admit I have doubts about Cam Newton as a passer, but I think he’s still a great player.

After dominating the 2015 season, Newton has struggled over the last two years.

This seems like one of those games where he stuns the Falcons and pulls off a huge win though.

How the Falcons Win: Let Keanu Neal help in run defense.

Newton rushed the ball 139 times last year and amassed 754 rushing yards with six touchdowns.

Although Keanu Neal is a safety, the Falcons let him play near the line of scrimmage to assist in the run game.

If Neal can control Newton’s impact in the running game, the Falcons should win this game.

I just worry that Newton will come into this game wanting to prove himself, especially if the Panthers are fighting for a playoff spot.

X-Factor of the Game: DJ Moore.

Rookie receivers can struggle to make immediate impacts, but I think Moore will be a big part of the Panther’s offense.

If he starts having a big season, the Falcons will adjust their coverage to prevent him from making plays.

Although this will help the passing game, it’ll also mean that Neal cannot play a huge part in run defense.

Obviously, there is a chance Moore struggles this year and the Falcons don’t feel the need to focus on him.

I just have a feeling that Moore could be in for a big season and it’ll cause the Falcons to switch up their defensive game-plan.

Predicted Score: Panthers win this one 24-10.

Yes, I am predicting the Falcons will struggle more on offense in this one.

This knocks us down to 10-5 as we head into the season finale.
