After making the playoffs for five straight years, the Cincinnati Bengals have gone 13-18 over the last two years. Will the Falcons win this one?

Although the Bengals couldn’t win in the playoffs, they had a dominant five-year stretch where the team won 52 games.

Over the last two years though, they’ve only won 13 games combined.

The team has struggled with injuries, free agency departures, and draft busts.

Will they be able to pull off the upset in week three? Let’s take an in-depth look.

How the Falcons Win: Avoid playing down to their competition.

This might seem like a simple concept, but the Falcons lost to the Miami Dolphins last year.

The same Dolphins team that recently sent most of their roster packing as a “culture change”.

If the Falcons can stay focused on their game plan and execute their offense, they should win this game easily.

X-Factor of the Game: AJ Green.

Green is probably the only chance the Bengals have of winning this game.

If he can pull off a 300-yard game similar to the one Julio Jones had, the Bengals might win.

Most of their roster is lackluster, and it’s hard to identify more strengths than weaknesses.

The Falcons clearly have a better roster and have the advantage at almost every position.

Predicted Score: Unless Green has a monster game, I don’t think the Bengals score more than 14 points.

I could see this being a 34-14 game, so I’ll go with that as my predicted score.

This means the Falcons are sitting at 3-1 heading into another tough game.
