2. Dansby Swanson Can Improve the Braves’ Offense with Consistent At-bats

There is still some debate remaining as to whether or not Dansby Swanson is the shortstop of the Braves’ future. Personally, I believe Swanson had too many expectations dumped on him unfairly. Now with all the attention shifted to other young players he will thrive.

Early in the year before his injury, you saw the player Swanson is capable of being. He will continue to hit consistently and provide good at-bats.

It will make the Braves much better and give them the ability to rely on the fact Swanson is the shortstop of the future.

Swanson’s game is going to continue to develop and continue to get better considering the limited time he spent in the minor leagues.

His .289 batting average this year is maintainable for the shortstop as long as his wrist is truly healthy.

Swanson is expected to rejoin the Braves’ roster by the weekend and will make them instantly better.
