4. Julio Teheran Needs to Show the Rookies How it is Done

Watching Julio Teheran this season has been an improvement on last but still, confusing. Teheran”s velocity has been down this season as has his pitch movement. His age isn’t the factor for a pitcher who should still be in his prime.

For the Braves they need Teheran to step up and be the pitcher he was before the rebuild. The go-to-pitcher for a team who leaned on pitching.

He used his movement and great control to fool hitters and keep a low pitch counts. All skills that have alluded him at times this season.

With the exception of a start or two Teheran has been inconsistent during his starts. Bouncing all around the zone and failing to look like the pitcher he is capable of being.

If he can find a way to recapture form it would be a huge boost to the team. It could even be enough to make them legitimate postseason contenders.
