Jameis Winston Weeks 6 and 17- Jameis Winston comes under the category of a franchise quarterback who has something to prove. Winston no longer has the benefit of the excuse of youth. It is time for him to prove he can play at a high level consistently and stay healthy.

Winston to me is a lesser version of Cam Newton not quite as dynamic running the football and slightly less arm strength.  He still has the capability to be a great franchise quarterback but how long will the Bucs remain patient?

Carson Wentz Week 1- How about a week one playoff grudge matchup? An instant gauge for where both franchises are in the standings. Wentz is likely to be back and healthy for the Eagles to take over for the Super Bowl-winning Nick Foles.

Wentz was likely the MVP until his injury ended his season. The reason he isn’t ranked higher than he is is that we don’t know the MVP quality year wasn’t the outlier. He spent his first season struggling and we saw backup Nick Foles come in and lead the same team to a Super Bowl over Tom Brady’s Patriots.

Wentz is a good guy and played at a high-level last season. This season all the pressure is squarely back on his shoulders. How will he respond?
